Hands-on Workshop on AI in Medical Research on 18th July 2024

The “AI WORKSHOP IN MEDICAL RESEARCH: HANDS ON TRAINING” was a significant eventorganized by the Department of Community Medicine at KMCT Medical College on 18th July 2024. Workshop was attended by 36 faculty members from KMCT MedicalCollege Hospital and aimed to provide comprehensive training on the applications ofartificial intelligence (AI) in medical research. Dr Jayakrishnan T, Professor & Head of the Department of Community Medicinecommenced the workshop with an inaugural speech. Four experts from the Department of Community Medicine in the field of AI and Medical Research handled the different sessions during the workshop namely; Dr Rupesh Raman (Associate Professor), Dr Anupama (Assistant Professor), Dr Nivya NK ( Assistant Professor) & Dr Navya G (Assistant Professor). The workshop was assisted by Staff facilitators Dr Meera S Nair ( Associate professor), Dr Subin ( Assistant Professor), and other faculties from the Department of Community Medicine. Mr.Sujesh(MSW) ensured the smooth conduct of the workshop. The event was structured to includesessions from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by a valedictory function and lunch.
