OPHTHALMOLOGY

Ophthalmology

Ophthalmology Department provides a well-equipped facility for the complete examination, diagnosis, and treatment (both medically and surgically) of all ocular diseases in both adult and paediatric patients. Eye disorders can be diagnosed and treated, including cataract, glaucoma, strabismus and amblyopia, ocular trauma, refractive disorders, cornea and external diseases, lachrymal drainage disorders, uveal diseases, and retinal disorders. Our students get some of the best learning experiences not only in their lecture halls but through the number outpatients that they get to see every day and through all the community level eye camps that the department organises.
