MARGADARSHAN Workshop on Enhancing Mentoring Skills

Workshop on Enhancing Mentorship was successfully organized by Medical Education Unit on 8.10.24 as the first day of Margdarshan- 3day Mentorship Development program.

The MEU Coordinator Dr Divya G Krishnan welcomed the gathering. Following her introduction, our esteemed Principal Dr Vijish Venugopal delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of mentorship in medical education and its role in shaping future healthcare professionals.

The highlight of the workshop was an engaging session led by Dr. Asma Rahim, Professor and Head Department of Community Medicine, Government Medical College, Kozhikode. Dr. Asma shared her expertise on effective mentorship practices, emphasizing the significance of building strong mentor-mentee relationships and fostering a supportive learning environment. Participants actively engaged in discussions, sharing their experiences and insights. The workshop concluded with a Q&A session, allowing participants to delve deeper into the topics discussed.
