About

The Department of Anatomy is known for its high academic excellence. We have well qualified faculty trained to carry out research work. They have several indexed publications. The Department conducts theory, practical and dissection classes for the students. The 250 students admitted are provided with adequate cadavers for dissection in a well equipped dissection hall. Charts, Specimens and 30 disarticulated bone sets are available for study. The Department has a well-organised museum with regionally arranged gross anatomy specimens, embryology models, and charts displayed separately. Histology lab is well equipped with 90 microscopes and projecting system. Students are provided with microscopes and slides individually for training..
